Wales Millennium Centre is preparing to unveil the next major installation in its Annwn Immersive season, its ambitious immersive storytelling experiences, with FRAMERATE: Pulse of the Earth by internationally acclaimed British artist collective ScanLAB Projects, opening on October 27th.

Making its Wales debut, FRAMERATE offers audiences a fascinating new perspective on our changing planet. Created using thousands of time-lapse 3D scans of British landscapes, the 25-minute experience brings the natural world to life across multiple large screens, accompanied by a hypnotic original soundtrack.

From forests growing and changing to coastlines eroding and landscapes transformed by human activity, the installation reveals changes that are often too slow or subtle for the human eye to see. Blending art, science and cutting-edge technology, it invites audiences to reflect on the passage of time, climate change and our relationship with the natural world.
