Cabaret Cardiff: Where Velvet Meets Voice This Autumn
As the nights stretch longer and the sequins shine brighter, Cabaret at Wales Millennium Centre is gearing up for an autumn season that’s anything but ordinary. Nestled in the heart of Cardiff Bay, this intimate venue has fast become the city’s beating heart of bold performance.
Cabaret isn’t just a stage—it’s a sanctuary. A place where drag royalty, burlesque rebels, and musical misfits converge to celebrate identity, artistry, and pure theatrical joy. Whether you’re a seasoned cabaret-goer or a curious newcomer, this is where your true self takes centre stage.
Aimee’s Spotlight: Just May: Tales of a Pork Chop
Our very own Aimee was recently invited to preview Just May: Tales of a Pork Chop, and let’s just say—she was pork-chop smitten. “Absolutely loved it,” she declared on our socials, and the show delivered in spades: camp confessional meets culinary metaphor, with Just May’s signature wit slicing through the room like a well-sharpened carving knife.
Victoria Scone: Cardiff Royalty Returns
One of the season’s most anticipated acts is Victoria Scone: There’s No Place Like Scone on October 25th. And for those who caught Barry Pride this summer, you’ll know this isn’t just any booking—it’s a homecoming. Our very own Chris J Birch had the honour of introducing Victoria onto stage at Barry Pride, bridging two worlds of Welsh celebration: the grassroots pride movement and the velvet-draped glamour of Cabaret. Expect high camp, heartfelt storytelling, and a scone or two served with sass.

The Venue: Ffresh, Fierce, and Full of Heart
Cabaret lives inside the Wales Millennium Centre’s Ffresh space—a venue that trades grandeur for grit, and polish for personality. It’s cocktails and dreams from Thursday to Saturday, with weekly drag, burlesque, and stand-up nights that feel more like a community gathering than a performance. It’s where lifelong connections are made, and where every laugh, gasp, and cheer feels personal.
